Ingredients
  

For the salad

  • 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 cups chopped romaine lettuce
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup grape tomatoes halved
  • 1/2 red onion thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup crumbled bacon
  • 1/2 cup croutons
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley

For the dressing

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons buttermilk
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried dill
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pe

Instructions
 

  • Preheat a grill pan or outdoor grill to medium-high heat.
  • Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then grill for 6-8 minutes per side, or until cooked through. Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing into strips.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sour cream, buttermilk, apple cider vinegar, honey, garlic powder, onion powder, dried dill, salt, and black pepper to make the dressing.
  • In a large salad bowl, combine the chopped romaine lettuce, shredded cheddar cheese, grape tomatoes, thinly sliced red onion, crumbled bacon, croutons, and chopped fresh parsley.
  • Add the sliced grilled chicken to the salad bowl, then drizzle with the dressing.
  • Toss the salad until all ingredients are coated with the dressing.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

  • You can adjust the amount of dressing to your preference. If you prefer a lighter dressing, you can reduce the amount of mayonnaise and sour cream and add more buttermilk.
  • If you don't have buttermilk, you can make your own by mixing 2 tablespoons of milk with 1/2 teaspoon of white vinegar or lemon juice.
  • You can also add other toppings to the salad, such as avocado, chopped hard-boiled eggs, or sliced cucumbers.
