How to Cook Ribs on a Cast Iron?

Ingredients
  

  • Ribs (pork or beef)
  • Salt and pepper (or other seasonings of your choice)
  • Oil (such as vegetable oil or olive oil)
  • Barbecue sauce
  • Garlic
  • Onion
  • Paprika
  • Brown sugar
  • Cayenne pepper

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C)
  • Season your ribs with your desired spices and seasoning.
  • Heat your cast iron skillet on medium-high heat and add some oil.
  • Once the skillet is hot, add the ribs and sear them on both sides until they are browned and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  • Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for about 20-25 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the ribs reaches 145°F (63°C) for pork ribs or 165°F (74°C) for beef ribs.
  • Remove the skillet from the oven and let the ribs rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing and serving.
