Ingredients
  

  • 4-6 turkey necks
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon paprika

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Rinse the turkey necks under cold running water and pat them dry with paper towels.
  • In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, rosemary, and paprika.
  • Rub the seasoning mixture all over the turkey necks, making sure they are well coated.
  • Place the turkey necks in a large baking dish and cover the dish tightly with aluminum foil.
  • Roast the turkey necks in the oven for 2-2 1/2 hours, or until they are tender and fully cooked.
  • Remove the aluminum foil from the baking dish and continue to roast for an additional 20-30 minutes, or until the turkey necks are golden brown.
  • Using kitchen tongs, transfer the turkey necks to a serving platter and let them rest for 5-10 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • If you prefer a spicier flavor, you can add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the seasoning mixture.
  • You can also add vegetables such as carrots, onions, and celery to the baking dish for a complete one-pan meal.
  • Make sure to use a meat thermometer to ensure that the turkey necks are fully cooked. The internal temperature should reach 165°F (74°C).
  • Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days, or in the freezer for up to 2-3 months.
