Fiery Crab Sauce Recipe

- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 small onion finely chopped
- 3 garlic cloves minced
- 1 tablespoon grated ginger
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup rice vinegar
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons sriracha sauce
- 1 tablespoon red pepper flakes
- Salt and pepper to taste
Heat the oil in a saucepan over medium-high heat. Add the onion and sauté until softened, about 5 minutes.
Add the garlic and ginger and sauté for another minute.
Whisk in the ketchup, soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, sriracha sauce, and red pepper flakes.
Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce has thickened.
