  • Oven

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup whole-grain mustard
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish.
  • Whisk together maple syrup, Dijon mustard, whole-grain mustard, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  • Arrange chicken breasts in the baking dish and pour the sauce over them, coating evenly.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, basting the chicken every 10 minutes.
  • Remove from the oven and let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Adjust seasonings to taste and consider adding thyme or rosemary for extra flavor.
  • Basting the chicken with sauce helps keep it moist and evenly coated.
  • Allowing the chicken to rest before serving improves tenderness.
  • Serve with roasted vegetables, rice, or in sandwiches/wraps.
The sauce can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. Reheat chicken to 165°F (74°C) before consuming.
