Ingredients
  

  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 1 lime
  • 1/4 cup red onion
  • 1 small jalapeno pepper
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1/4 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon chili powder
  • Salt and pepper

Instructions
 

  • Cut avocados in half and remove the pit. Scoop out the flesh and place it in a mixing bowl. Finely chop the onion, jalapeno pepper, and garlic. Add to the bowl. Extract lime juice using a citrus juicer.
  • Mash avocado with a fork to your desired consistency.
  • Add cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  • Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
  • Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate. Serve with tortilla chips or use as a topping for tacos, burritos, or salads. Enjoy!

Notes

  • Make sure to use ripe but not mushy avocados.
  • For a milder guacamole, remove the seeds and membrane from the jalapeno pepper.
  • Adjust the seasoning to your taste preference.
  • Cover and refrigerate the guacamole until ready to serve to prevent browning.
